Job Description

About Role

We are seeking an experienced .NET developer to work on a SWIFT payment system integration into our financial services platform. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of SWIFT protocols, secure financial transactions, with a focus on the latest migration from SWIFT MT to MX (ISO 20022) messaging standards and hands-on experience in developing and integrating payment systems using .NET technologies.

You will play a critical role in building solutions from scratch, iterating quickly, and getting them client/market-ready.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and integration of the SWIFT payment system into the existing platform using .NET technologies.
Implement SWIFT messaging standards ( MT to MX migration ) for various financial transactions including payments, transfers, and confirmations.
Ensure that the payment system complies with industry security standards such as encryption, authentication, and data integrity protocols.
Conduct unit and integration testing for SWIFT-related functionality to ensure accurate transaction processing and data consistency.
Write and maintain high-quality technical documentation related to the SWIFT integration, including system architecture, APIs.
Implement integration points between SWIFT applications and backend services.
Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in backend development and SWIFT.

Required Technical Skills

1-3 years of experience in backend development using .NET Core or ASP.NET.
Good understanding of SWIFT Payment Protocols and how to integrate them with backend services.
Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
Proficiency in working with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and handling large transaction datasets.
Familiarity with encryption methods, secure data transmission, and authentication mechanisms in financial systems.
Good understanding of security principles and best practices in backend development.
Experience with source control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in sprints.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SWIFT, particularly in understanding SWIFT data structures and communication protocols (MX / MT)
Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.
