US Accountant with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains Software-Remote Job

Recently we have started our office in India where we are doing Market Research and Back office work in our India Office. We have also started accounting and Bookkeeping work for our existing clients and now we are looking for a candidate who can be part of our Growing India Team.

Here is the skill set required for the candidate we are looking for.

Job description

• Good knowledge and experience in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains Software for US Accounting.
• The candidate must have extensive knowledge of Excel.
• Good verbal and written communication in English and communicate with US Clients.
• At least 5-6 years of Experience working in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains Software.
• Process month-end reconciliations, journal entries and reports.
• General ledger analysis of accounts.
• Review and prepare financial statements along with maintaining Management Reporter reports
• Cost accounting review, analysis, research and adjustments, along with reconciliation of WIP accounts
• Supervise and research issues with outsourced sales taxation and returns for multiple states.
• Administration of fixed assets.
• Reconciliation and correcting credit card expense issues. Processing of individual credit cards against master payable account.
• Supervise and review AP coding, processes and check runs
• Process, troubleshoot and review payroll (outsourced) including weekly commitment of time for job costing - future
• Provide support to the budget and forecasting process
• Collect and analyze financial data, ensuring that all reporting is in compliance with guidelines
• Research accounting rules and regulations and make recommendations regarding company policy
• Other accounting duties as necessary
• Should be flexible with Mid Night Shift.

Qualification/Requirements

• The successful candidate must have advanced proficiency in computer (Excel, MS Great Plains, Wennsoft/Key 2 Act a plus, GP fixed asset module experience a plus) skills.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy is critical.
• Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to perform whatever tasks are required to complete a project.
• Sensitivity and discretion to maintain confidentiality concerning financial information
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask effectively; effective time management skills

Education/Experience

• BA/BS in Accounting or CPA
• Strong working knowledge of MS Great Plains
• Wennsoft/Key 2 Act a plus
• Strong in Microsoft Excel and analysis
• 5-8 years of Accounting experience minimum.
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting is a plus

• Timing: 2:30 PM to 11.30 AM (Mid Night Shift)
• Working Days: 5 Days working (Monday to Friday)
• Experience: 5-6 years of Experience working in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains Software for US accounting.
