About the Role :

We are seeking a talented and passionate UX/UI Designer who possesses a deep understanding of the UX research process and can navigate the complexities of designing for an AI product in an industry that is beginning to embrace advanced technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user-centered design and a keen ability to translate insights into intuitive and engaging interfaces.

Responsibilities :

- User Research : Lead comprehensive user research initiatives, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights on user needs, behaviors, and pain points specific to academic institutions adopting AI technologies.

- Design Development : Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows, ensuring they align with the unique requirements of users in traditional educational environments.

- Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility while addressing the nuances of integrating AI into existing workflows.

- Visual Design : Develop visually appealing designs that adhere to brand guidelines while enhancing user experience, particularly in conveying complex AI functionalities in a user-friendly manner.

- Feedback Integration : Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results, ensuring continuous improvement of the product interface and responsiveness to user needs.

- Documentation : Maintain comprehensive design documentation to support development teams during implementation and provide clarity on design rationale.

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's degree, preferably in a design-oriented stream.

- Experience : 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design for web applications, preferably within the education or technology sector.

- Tools : Proficient in wireframing and design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar software.

- Portfolio : A strong portfolio showcasing previous design projects that demonstrate your skills in user experience research and interface design would add significant weight to the application.

Skills :

- User-Centric Mindset : Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, particularly in contexts where technology is being integrated into traditional processes.

- Research Expertise : Proficiency in conducting qualitative and quantitative research to inform design decisions and understand user interactions with AI systems.

- Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex design challenges associated with AI products.

- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating design decisions to stakeholders at all levels.

- You will need to speak to our customers in the USA for UX research activities.

- Team Player : Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment while also working independently when needed
