As a CAD Draftsman at OneMEP, you will play a crucial role in the creation and modification of detailed MEP drawings and plans. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure that our designs are accurately represented and meet all necessary standards and codes. Your precision and attention to detail will be essential in helping us deliver high-quality MEP solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting and Design: Produce accurate MEP drawings, plans, and schematics using AutoCAD or other relevant software based on engineering designs and specifications.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements, clarify design intent, and make necessary revisions to drawings.
Quality Assurance: Review and verify the accuracy of drawings to ensure they comply with industry standards, codes, and client specifications.
Documentation: Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
Coordination: Collaborate with other members of the project team, including architects, contractors, and clients, to ensure seamless project execution.
Software Proficiency: Stay updated with the latest CAD software and technology to improve efficiency and productivity in the drafting process.
Problem-Solving: Assist in identifying and resolving design issues or discrepancies during the project lifecycle.
Compliance: Stay informed about relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards to ensure that designs meet all necessary requirements.
Qualifications:
Education: A diploma in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: 3-10 years of Proven experience as a CAD Draftsman in the MEP industry or a related field is advantageous.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software is required. Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
