- Reviews existing supply expenses and identifies supply expense reduction opportunities.
- Collaborates with staff to implement the identified supply expense reduction opportunities.
- Provides support for administration of inventory locations, ensuring units are properly stocked of supplies.
- Assures quality control of all units utilizing appropriate systems for inventory applications.
- Assures quality of the products which are received to and stored in the refrigerator before issuing the departments
- Assists internal customers with medical supply recommendations when standard inventory supplies are stock outs or backordered utilizing the product formulary committees.
- Possesses extensive knowledge of medical pathology products, associated contract compliance, and acts as a liaison for product conversion.
- Serves as a resource on department and institutional initiatives.
- Supports coordination of application upgrades.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
