Roles and Responsibilities

• Review medical records, including radiology reports, lab results, and other relevant documents to accurately code diagnoses using ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS codes.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards for medical coding accuracy and completeness.
  
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnosis details and resolve discrepancies in coding.
  
• Stay up-to-date with changes to coding guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices.
  
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times while performing duties.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• Excellent analytical skills for reviewing complex medical records; attention to detail is essential.
  
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS codes; ability to apply them accurately according to established guidelines.
  
• 1-6 years of experience as an Inpatient/Outpatient Facility Coder (ICD-10-CM/PCS & CPT).
