Project Engineer - Electrical & Automation

Responsible for supervision of installation, testing and commissioning activities (onsite) of:

Electrical equipment (HV, LV Switchboard & MCC)
PLCs & Drives (SCRs & VFDs)
Fire and gas systems
Generator control Systems
Other electrical, automation and control systems

Assisting the Project Manager (ENA/Tech/Structural) in preparing the detailed
project plan.
Assisting the Project Manager in assessing the project technical specifications by
perusing the agreed scope and drawing up all related documents to establish the
detailed WBS.
Assisting the Project Manager in overall coordination of project and conduct tasks
as required by the Project Manager to support the project.
Raising requisitions as instructed by the Project Manager for equipment
procurement and/or services, as required for the project.
Identifying and resolving (as far as practicable) all on-site conflicting issues and
other challenges that may affect the successful, safe, and timely completion of
project.
Prepare the detailed Daily report of project activities for submission to the Project
Manager.
Responsible for all on-site resource allocations for optimizing project execution,
removing bottlenecks and streamlining the workflow.
Attending all project meetings as requested by the Project Manager.
Attending off-site locations for FAT / Equipment certification / refurbishment
procedures as advised by the Project Manager.
Updating the Project Manager on deviations from set daily deliverables / targets,
along with inputs on their reasons and to follow-up on corrective / further course of
action as advised by the Project Manager.
