Senior Engineer - IT Quality & Assurance Testing

• 5+ years of relevant testing (manual +Automation) experience in the IT industry.
• Exposure to Agile Scrum methodology.
• Usage of Automated testing tools like WebDriverIO ( Javascript/TypeScript) with basic understanding of CI/CD concepts with Jenkins/Selenium Grid.
• Knowledge on API automation testing.
• Ability to work within Agile development environment, with working knowledge of JIRA/ADO.
• Proactive, Clear, precise, and logical problem-solving approach.
• Demonstrate very strong analytical skills with ability to understand functioning of large & complex applications.
• Work closely with other QA analysts, developers and BAs on defect isolation, reporting, and resolution.
• Managing requirements and delivering optimal solutions within the constraint of time.
• Proficient in formulating product test strategies throughout the product release/sprint life cycle.
• An effective communicator with polished interpersonal, problem solving and analytical abilities

• Create & execute functional & technical test scripts and share advice to the other team members, business stakeholders to identify effective ways of testing.
• Perform standard checks, verify output with application experts and identify gaps in QA processes.
• Mentor and Coach other team members in achieving high quality deliverable.
• Drive Ops excellence culture and lead transformational project(s) with clear visible and measurable impact.
• Responsible for driving initiatives and ensuring results with a confined focus on timelines and quality.
• Drive employee measurement factors like KRAs, mentoring and Project SLAs Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communications skills with working knowledge of agile practices (scrum)
• Adaptability to learn new skills & working knowledge of PODs and SQUAD model.
• Self-driven, highly motivated, ready to work in high pressure situations.

• Good Coding skills in WDIO (WebDriverIO) using JavaScript/TypeScript a MUST.
• Good experience on framework setting up robust framework & best QA practices across various squads.
• Good exposure in writing effective and meaningful Gherkins.
• Strong GIT experience along with basic understanding of CI/CD concepts with Jenkins/Git Actions.
