Job Description
- Team Supervision: Supervise, train, and manage a team of stewards to maintain cleanliness in dining areas, kitchen, and service areas
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, including ordering and stock management of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Hygiene and Sanitation: Ensure adherence to hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Operational Efficiency: Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations and timely availability of cleaned utensils, dishes, and equipment
- Quality Control: Conduct inspections to maintain high cleanliness and service standards across all areas
- Training and Development: Train new stewards, conduct regular skill development sessions, and provide ongoing support to improve team performance
- Problem Resolution: Address issues or complaints regarding cleanliness and stewarding services promptly and effectively
- Required Skills and Qualifications:Hospitality Knowledge: Understanding of hospitality service standards, cleanliness protocols, and stewarding operations
- Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage and motivate a team effectively
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
