Senior System Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

• Automation testing, maintaining framework and test scripts for functionality and issues.
• To create automated scripts to Test functionality.
• Understand Customer requirements and Issues.
• To develop test strategy, test plan, and test cases.
• To generate logs, test reports, and defect reports.
• To execute story, regression, system, functional, and performance tests.
• To perform a release test for customer releases.
• Participate in interactions with all levels of personnel with different teams and stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proficient in manual tests and automated tests.
• Experience in creating automation scripts in any programming language (C#, Java, Python).
• Min 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Desktop Application automation tools (Ranorex Studio for Automation testing, TestComplete, UFT).
• Experience in developing test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Experience in generating logs, test reports, and defect reports.
• Experience in executing functional, regression, system, and performance tests.
• Good knowledge of defect lifecycle and STLC.
• Good experience with Bug-tracking tools like Jira / RQM.
• Knowledge of IBM Jazz (Doors, RTC, RQM).
• Knowledge of source control tools like SVN, and GIT.
• Experience working in Scrum and Agile.
