Education: B.E Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field Specialization

Experience-: 10+yrs

Role & responsibilities

Exposure in Oil and Gas, Chemical, Renewable Energy, Pipeline, Power Plant Project as minimum, OFFSHORE and ONSHORE.

• Responsible for quality, budget and schedule for telecom activities.

• Exposure to proposal execution in terms of man-hour estimation and EPC proposal.

• Exposure in FEED, Basic Engineering, Green Field and Brown Field Projects.
• Knowledge in international codes and standards.
• Participation in FAT activities and SAT activities.
• Site exposure is preferable. • Good exposure in coordination with Vendor, Client, Inter Disciplines.
• Preparation and checking of General Specification, Design Basis, Data Sheet, Equipment List, and Specification for all Telecom Equipment including Bulk Materials.
• Hands on experience on sizing calculation for the proper design.
• Preparation and checking of RFQ and TBE. • Review and approval of VDR. • Preparation and checking of all design & engineering documents/drawings like layouts, wiring , MTO and construction Contractor input. • Exposure on LAN System, PAGA System, CCTV System Radio Paging System, Access Control System, TETRA System, F & G System etc. • Check key engineering documents according to internal procedure.
• Participation in 3D Modeling activities. • Coordinate Subcontracted Discipline engineering activities and controls subcontracted Discipline engineering documents.

• Preparation of technical documentation for Telecom Requisitions.

• Provide input to Discipline Principal Engineer on harmonizing designs and project management methodologies. • Participate in the modification of Company workflow and technical standardization

Preferred candidate profile

1In-depth knowledge of Telecom principles, practices, and standards relevant to Oil and Gas, Chemical, Renewable Energy, Pipeline, Power Plant Project.

2. Proficiency in design & engineering software tools for Telecom design, such as AutoCAD, etc. 3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex Telecom issues and propose effective solutions.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. 5. Proven project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage budgets and schedules, and deliver projects on time and within scope.
