Job Description:
We are seeking an R&D Formulation Scientist with a strong background in the
development of injectable finished dosage forms. The ideal candidate will have a
minimum of 5-10 years of experience, with at least the last 4-6 years focused on
injectable formulations. This role will involve the design, development, and optimization
of complex injectable formulations, including emulsions, Nano formulations, and
lyophilized products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage formulation development projects for injectable finished dosage forms, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality formulations.
• Develop and optimize complex injectable formulations, including emulsions, nanosuspensions, and lyophilized products.
• Utilize expertise in microfluidization and lyophilization processes to enhance formulation stability and performance.
• Conduct and oversee experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation to support formulation development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analytical development, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs, to ensure successful product development and commercialization.
• Prepare and review technical documents, including development reports, protocols, and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or Masters degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation development, with at least 4-6 years focused on injectable finished dosage forms.
• Proven expertise in developing complex injectable formulations, including emulsions, Nano formulations, and lyophilized products.
• Hands-on experience with micro fluidization and lyophilization techniques is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of successful product development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

• Experience with scale-up and technology transfer of injectable products.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines for injectable drug products.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality by Design (QbD) principles.
