Study Tender Requirements: Thoroughly analyze the tender documents, including project scope, drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
• Clarify Specifications: Seek clarification from clients, architects, or consultants regarding any unclear points in the tender documents to ensure the bid reflects all necessary requirements.
• Prepare Queries: If needed, prepare technical or commercial queries for the client or architect to resolve any ambiguities before finalizing the bid.
• Cost Estimation: Prepare a detailed cost estimate for the project, including all labor, materials, subcontractors, and any other costs associated with the fitout project.
• Labor & Material Costing: Source up-to-date material prices and labor rates from suppliers, subcontractors, or market rates to develop competitive and accurate pricing.
• Supplier & Subcontractor Quotations: Solicit quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for materials, finishes, and specialized work.
• Tender Documentation Compilation: Compile all necessary tender documents, including the cost breakdown, technical specifications, schedules, qualifications, and other supporting documentation.
• Compliance with Tender Instructions: Ensure the submission complies with all tendering instructions, formatting, and submission guidelines.
• Risk Management: Identify and analyse potential risks involved in the project (e.g., site conditions, compliance, EHS etc) and include provisions for them in the tender.
• Negotiation with Clients and Stakeholders: Be available to discuss the bid submission with clients or consultants if required, providing clarification on the estimates, scope, and other elements.
• Transition to Project Execution: Upon winning the tender, work with the project manager to hand over relevant details for project execution, including budget breakdowns etc.,
