We are currently seeking a Functional Architect to join our team in Pune, Mah r shtra (IN-MH), India (IN).
As the Core Banking Business Architect, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic and technical guidance to our clients in the banking industry. You will work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors, to design and implement efficient and scalable core banking solutions. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Core Banking System Design: Collaborate with clients stakeholders to understand their core banking system requirements and develop innovative architectural designs. Design end-to-end business architectures, process flows, and data models aligned with clients core banking objectives. Ensure seamless integration of the core banking system with existing infrastructure and compliance with regulatory standards. Provide technical guidance and support to development teams during the core banking system implementation.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with clients business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and IT teams to identify their specific needs and translate them into pragmatic core banking system solutions. Conduct workshops and interactive sessions to gather business requirements and elicit actionable insights. Foster collaboration between business and IT teams to ensure alignment and obtain buy-in for core banking transformation initiatives.
Solution Evaluation and Selection: Assess solution capabilities, scalability, performance, and security in accordance with clients specific criteria. Develop comprehensive business cases and deliver persuasive presentations to senior management.
System Implementation and Integration: Work closely with clients and project teams to oversee and guide the successful implementation of core banking systems. Collaborate with IT teams to manage system integrations, data migration, and comprehensive testing activities. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of core banking system implementations.
Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and data security requirements throughout core banking system implementations. Develop and maintain system governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Provide expert guidance on risk mitigation strategies and establish controls to safeguard sensitive information. To qualify for the role you must have
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Masters degree will be a plus. Extensive experience (10+ years) as a Core banking Business Architect or in a similar role within the financial services industry. Deep hands-on knowledge about Temenos T24 or Finacle will be preferred. In-depth knowledge of core banking systems, architectural principles, and industry best practices. Strong understanding of banking processes, products, and regulatory frameworks. Proven ability to lead and facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, and effectively manage stakeholders. Strong understanding of Java, Core JAVA and Selenium. Experience in Test Data management techniques. Strong understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure etc. Experience in Functional testing of Core banking applications like T24, Financle, Flexcube Proficient in system integration concepts, data modeling, and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle Project management experience would be advantageous.
