We are currently seeking a Project Management Office Trainer to join our team in Salem, Oregon (US-OR), United States (US).
Provides coordination and support of Project Management Office (PMO) efforts for NTT DATA. The PMO Trainer position is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs to educate employees across an organization on project management best practices, methodologies, and tools established by the PMO, ensuring consistent project execution and adherence to PMO standards, including creating training materials, facilitating workshops, and assessing training effectiveness. This position requires knowledge of project management, plan development, status reporting, project communication, and other PMO related services to be provided at the direction of the NTT DATA project leadership.
Job Responsibilities Include: Developing comprehensive training curriculums aligned with a PMO s project management framework, covering topics included in a standard project management methodology. Designing training courses, leading training sessions, and assessing the training s impact. Providing one-on-one mentorship, with guidance and feedback beyond formal training sessions. Fostering professional development and ongoing training to support employees progression. Developing state staff employee training plans, tailoring content to different skill levels. Providing presentations, facilitation, and communications to engage the audience in a dynamic training environment. Developing engaging training materials, including visual aids and interactive exercises. Implementing feedback surveys and analyzing employee feedback data to measure if learning outcomes meet training objectives. Adjusting training content and delivery methods based on audience needs and organizational changes. Working with client leadership on training strategy and execution. Providing presentations to executive staff. Ensuring training is completed on time and with high and professional quality. Owning the training program and working with minimal supervision. Developing monthly status reports.
Basic Qualifications: A minimum of five (5) years of developing and providing team training. A minimum of three (3) years using the Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint). A minimum of three (3) years of working as a project manager or project business analyst. Bachelor s degree, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Skills: A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a PMO. Training certification, such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) Project Management Institute certification in project management or business analysis.
