Job Type : Contractual/Full-Time.
Experience : 5+ years as QA Automation.
Location : Remote/In-House.
Work Time : IST, 12 PM 9 PM.
Position Summary :
- The SDET will own our QA automation strategy, build our test automation infrastructure and enable software engineers to develop well-tested code in a fast flow, agile team environment.
- You will extend and augment the testing efforts of developers to ensure quality of new features and functionality.
Position Responsibilities :
- Creates highly reusable test steps that can be easily used by others to write test cases.
- Develops documentation, tools, and framework extensions to help coach team members to create automated tests.
- Partners with product engineering teams to ensure automated testing is fully enabled.
- Creates and refines automation tools with product teams to increase engagement and automated testing coverage.
- Triages and stabilizes unreliable tests, and optimize tests to increase capacity.
- Defines, adapts, and documents quality processes as team and product needs change.
- Advocates for quality in all aspects of our products and services.
- Promotes quality and reliability within the team and partners with SDETs in other teams to share best practices across the organization.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications :
- 3+ years of experience in a QA automation engineer or a SDET role.
- Experience with Playwright test automation and TypeScript.
- Experience integrating automated tests into the build process.
- API/RESTful service testing experience.
- Kubernetes/Docker/AWS platform experience or similar technologies.
- Excellent communication and deductive reasoning skills.
- Exposure to or interest in DevOps.
- Familiar with CI/CD processes.
- Ability to achieve results both independently and in a team.
- Proven attention to detail and mastery of information design.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and achieve professional goals, and achieve timely follow-through on commitments.
- Possesses a demonstrated growth mindset; approach challenges as opportunities to improve and grow both self and Company.
- Ability to prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth work environment with rapidly shifting priorities.
