Frontend Engineer - Next.js/Javascript (8-10 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers to refine, improve, develop, and deliver frontend features.

- Partner with SDETs to write frontend automation tests, ensuring the quality and reliability of our product.

- Translate UX mockups from Figma into a maintainable frontend design system and leverage it to rapidly develop features.

- Collaborate with backend developers to create feature-specific internal APIs.

- Work independently under the guidance of the Engineering Lead, utilizing available resources to overcome obstacles and complete tasks on schedule using strong judgment and problem-solving skills.

- Write clean, observable code and proactively configure monitoring in our APM tools. Efficiently debug and fix issues, providing root cause analysis.

- Mentor and coach junior Frontend Engineers, leading code reviews and establishing best practices.

- Propose and implement improvements to infrastructure and frameworks to keep the product up-to-date with the latest advancements.

Qualifications :

- Minimum of 8 years of experience building web applications using HTML/CSS/TypeScript, ReactJS, and NodeJS.

- In-depth experience with JavaScript frameworks like Next.js or similar technologies.

- Experience implementing distributed micro-frontends with a shared component library.

- Experience integrating with Web APIs (REST or GraphQL).

- Proficiency in Git and GitHub development workflows.

- Experience with accessibility standards compliance and assistive technologies.

- Familiarity with application monitoring tools (New Relic, Clarity, Sentry).

- Knowledge of Codespaces or Remote Development practices.

- Experience with web testing automation tools like Playwright.

- Familiarity with CI/CD processes (GitHub Actions).

- Experience with design tools like Figma.

- A proven track record of achieving professional goals, both independently and collaboratively, and meeting deadlines.
