We are seeking a Senior Business Operations Specialist to play a crucial role in solution delivery, data analysis, and operational optimization.
This role requires a strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and expertise in optimization, statistical analysis, and data science. You will be responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying solutions that enhance supply chain planning and business operations.
As a senior team member, you will mentor junior analysts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Solution Design & Configuration :
- Lead end-to-end solution design, configuration, and implementation.
- Work with clients to identify business process improvements and document best practices.
- Analyze supply chain data, including historical sales, inventory, logistics, and operations data.
- Translate business logic into platform infrastructure and technical specifications.
- Develop functional and technical documentation, ensuring data integrity and system performance.
Data Analytics & Optimization :
- Use mathematical models, predictive analytics, optimization algorithms, and simulations to provide insights.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) to create datasets for analysis.
- Utilize statistical tools (R, SAS, CPLEX, etc.) and programming languages (SQL, MDX, T-SQL, etc.) for data processing.
- Design and implement performance monitoring systems for data-driven decision-making.
Testing & Quality Assurance :
-Collaborate with R&D teams to resolve solution gaps and implement fixes.
- Develop and execute testing protocols, ensuring the platform meets business requirements.
- Lead workflow and data analytics testing, documenting and tracking issue resolution.
Stakeholder Communication & Training :
- Work closely with clients, IT teams, and business stakeholders to drive project execution.
- Plan and conduct Super User and End User training for global teams.
- Mentor junior analysts, providing technical and business guidance.
Skills and Qualifications Required :
Education & Experience :
- Master's Degree with 2+ years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of experience.
- Background in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Analytics, or related fields.
- Experience in supply chain planning, logistics, or solution implementation.
- Hands-on experience in enterprise solution implementation, including requirement gathering, design, UAT/SIT, and go-live deployment.
- Experience with agile methodology for large-scale enterprise implementations.
Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in statistical, optimization, and simulation tools such as R, SAS, CPLEX.
- Strong data analytics and data mining capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with SQL databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and query languages (SQL, MDX, T-SQL).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Word, PowerPoint.
- Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools.
Soft Skills :
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Effective stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
- Capability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively
