We are looking for an experienced Discrete Mathematics Instructor who can bring clarity and enthusiasm to this foundational subject. Using a structured curriculum, you will teach essential topics such as logic, proof techniques, set theory, relations, counting, graph theory, and basic algebraic structures, which are crucial for computer science and engineering students.

Hyderabad

* Working days: 6 days a week

* Probation Period: 3 Months

Curriculum Scope

The course covers but is not limited to:

* Logic and Proof Methods (Propositions, Quantifiers,Direct & Indirect Proofs, Mathematical Induction)

* Sets and Functions (Set Theory, Operations,

Functions, and Properties)

* Relations (Properties, Equivalence, Partial Orderings)

* Counting Techniques (Combinatorics, Pigeonhole

Principle, Permutations & Combinations)

* Recursive Functions and Recurrence Relations

(Structural Induction, Solving Recurrence Relations)

* Graph Theory (Graph Representation, Paths, Connectivity, Euler/Hamilton Graphs, Graph Coloring)

* Trees and Algebraic Structures (Properties of Trees, Spanning Trees, Basic Algebraic Structures)

Requirements:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

* Prior experience in teaching or tutoring Discrete

Mathematics or related topics.

* Passion for teaching and mentoring, with a commitment to student success.

* Alignment with NxtWave's vision and culture.

Skills

Must-Have:

* Strong knowledge of discrete math topics, including proof methods, set theory, relations, combinatorics, and graph theory.

* Professional fluency in English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.

* Proficiency in content development using tools like Google Sheets, Google Slides, etc. (Knowledge of Microsoft 365 stack is a plus).

* Ability to quickly learn and use technology platforms to interact with students.

* ⁠• Empathy, ambition, and the ability to work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver daily in-person classroom training on

Discrete Mathematic and/or related courses

* Design, develop, and implement learning activities, materials, and resources that align with industry standards.

* Provide personalized learning experiences by understanding student needs and delivering tailored support throughout the program.

* Actively assist and resolve student queries and issues promptly, providing mentorship and guidance.

* Contribute to curriculum development and improvements based on student feedback and industry trends.

* Continuously develop and demonstrate a teaching philosophy that inspires student learning.

* • Review student deliverables for accuracy and quality.

* Handle a class size of 70-100 students, ensuring engagement and effective learning outcomes.

* Stay current with professional development in both pedagogy and software development practices.
