Motion Graphic Artist

We are looking for a talented Motion graphics Artist to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director's vision. Ultimately, as an animator, you should be able to bring visuals and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story.

As a Motion graphics Artist, you have to supervise and upskill your team of video editors with industry best practices. You have to oversee the creating animation, and enhancing the overall quality of the videos.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all technical aspects of animation for ads & internal assets.
• Brainstorm and come up with animated content ideas with the creative/brand team.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Create new styles and formats; innovate within brand guidelines.
• Staying up to date with upskilling yourself and your team of animation
• Continuously strive to optimise the resources to achieve best quality work
• Should review and enhance team processes and checklists time to time, aiming for industry standard deliverables
• Take the design brief to record requirements.
• Think creatively and develop new video ads, print and digital ads,
• Design concepts, graphics and layouts
• Amend and format existing marketing materials using Adobe applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have a professional reel or samples of previous work to apply.
• 3+ years experience in different learning media types, such as UI and UX design, E-Learning courses, motion graphics, Infographics, audio editing.
• 3+ years of using After Effects and Premiere Pro, Adobe Animate,Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere and audio editing software and with working knowledge of post-production applications such as Figma and Photoshop.
• Able to multitask and prioritise video projects based on content and deadlines.
• Ability to create freehand and digital illustrations preferred
• Possess a flexible work style and be able to work beyond the normal schedule during peak periods in order to meet deadlines
• Keen on exploring new tools and technologies. Sharing knowledge with team members
• Possess a client-service mindset and a desire to take on tough and challenging projects
• Pro-actively investigate and mitigate risks, coordinating with team members and others to resolve issues, and escalate issues as necessary
• Outstanding visualisation skills and the ability to translate them into visual elements for a learning environment. Additionally, advanced attention to detail will be required for success in this role
• Comprehend and translate storyboards and requirements into learning solutions and creative assets
• Develop unique and innovative ways by which to display concepts and processes
• Research and find out the market trends in visual design and implement the newest trends in day-to-day work.
• Must have superior project and time management capabilities within a fast-paced, high-productivity environment.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or issues.
• Creative mind and storytelling skills.
• Able to work and communicate within a team structure while able to work independently with minimal supervision.
