Job Description :

NutaNXT is looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer who identifies business problems and translates these to data services and engineering outcomes.

You will deliver advanced data solutions that empower better decision-making and flexibility for solutions that scale efficiently with future business requirements of clients.

You must have experience Designing and implementing scalable and efficient data pipelines and data models in Snowflake by developing ETL pipelines for data preprocessing and cleansing using any ETL tool.

We are looking for you to come with deep experience in this area and have the aspiration to grow very quickly and lead Data Transformation projects with teams of 5-10 people having very strong Snowflake, DBT and Python experience.

You must be seen as a go-to person for solving the most complex technical challenges for our US clients around these 3 technology areas and be ready to inspire your peers with your technology depth and work collaboratively across the client and project teams to grow your technical and people skills along the way.

Responsibilities :

- Proven experience of 5+ years as a Senior Data Engineer or in a related Data Solutions Architect role, involving the design, construction, and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure.

- Must have exceptional programming experience in Python and DBT.

- Proficiency in SQL and database design principles.

- Strong grasp of Snowflake data warehouse concepts.

- Proficient with Airflow; experience with Astronomer Airflow is preferred.

- Familiar with various data ingestion methods into Snowflake, including data sharing.

- Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools in the Snowflake context using GitLab.

- Knowledge of the Soda data quality application is an added advantage.

- Understanding of Kafka is beneficial.

- Experienced in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing concepts.

- Basic knowledge of AWS cloud technology is essential.

Required skills :

- Bachelor's Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer or Data Solutions Architect similar role

- Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles

- Hands-on Experience of Cloud data warehousing, particularly AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Experience with SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.

- Familiarity with data integration tools such as Talend, Informatica, DataStage, IBM CDC Infosphere, or any ETL Tools

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
