About the Team

Join our Renewals Engine team at Nutanix, where you will work alongside a diverse and talented group of 8 individuals. With 6 team members based in India and 2 from our headquarters, we champion teamwork and collaboration to drive innovation and success. Our team culture revolves around open communication and support, encouraging every member to contribute their unique perspectives towards achieving our shared objectives.

You will report to the Staff Engineer of the Renewals Engine team.

Your Role

• You will be part of the implementation team responsible for building innovative cloud products.
• Writing efficient, scalable, and clean code including both backend and frontend .
• Developing features with Javascript and related technologies.
• Translate requirements and user stories into design specifications and solid code.
• Integrating with a third-party system via RESTful/SOAP APIs.
• Able to demonstrate creating well-architected REST APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor and/or Master in computer science OR related field of study.
• 2 - 5 years experience with full-stack development of Cloud/SaaS Applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node. js.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a drive to learn new technologies.
• Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and analytical thinking.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Kafka.
• Familiarity with cloud-computing environments like Amazon EC2, Azure, and Heroku is a valuable asset.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Express. js, Sails. js, and React. js.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and multi-cloud environments like AWS and Azure.
• Extensive experience in web application technologies.

How we work

This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
