The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development with an affinity towards UX and design. They should be able to define and implement complex distributed system architectures, and be well-versed in both REST and GraphQL.

Your Role

• Design and develop scalable, distributed systems and web-scale applications
• Take ownership of new feature development, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery
• Build a scalable application that enables test certification, BOM creation, orchestration of test frameworks, and result analytics
• Design and implement clean REST and GraphQL APIs
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to create a consumer-grade user experience for industry-shaping products
• Work with Platforms Development, Test, Documentation, and Product Management teams to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment
• Engage with customers and support when needed to tackle production issues
• Bridge the gap between requirements and implementation, communicate with stakeholders, anticipate issues, and improve end-to-end workflows
• Leverage existing GenAI technologies like GitHub Copilot to enhance efficiency and productivity

What You Will Bring

• 5+ years of relevant experience in software engineering
• BS/Masters in Computer Science or related field
• Strong background in backend development with an affinity towards UX and design
• Ability to define and implement complex distributed system architecture
• Expertise in both REST and GraphQL
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders to clarify requirements and anticipate issues
• Strong sense of ownership and an eye for design
• Proficiency in using GenAI technologies like GitHub Copilot
• Experience with relational database architecture, schema, and queries
• Proficiency in Java or Python for enterprise-quality software development
• Working knowledge of Git and exposure to Agile methodologies
• Understanding of microservices and containerized technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc. )
