Junior & Senior Data Engineer

• Minimum 5+ (Seniors)/ 2+ (Juniors) years of experience as data engineer/data analyst.
• Fluency in at least one programming language such as (e.g., Python, Java Spring Boot, .Net, etc.) with strong AWS Services skills.
• Expert knowledge of SQL tools and languages.
• Strong skills in databases, data warehouses, and data processing.
•  Working experience in SnowFlake and DBT.
• Additional working experience good to have in the development/support of SAP HANA, HANA EDW, Business Intelligence reporting (SAP Business Objects and Microsoft Power BI preferred), and Matillion/ Informatica.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, experience analyzing trace dumps and deducing what to optimize to speed up queries and processes.
• Strong team player and ability to learn quickly.
• Enjoys problem-solving and working through ambiguous scenarios.
• Knowledge of big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBase, etc., will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 /Level 3 Incident Management support for Enterprise Data Applications hosted in public and private clouds and meet business service SLAs.
• Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support associated data infrastructure needs.
• Take ownership of critical issues, enlist proper representation from other support teams and drive towards resolution
• Work with integration tools and reporting tools to ensure the correct system-to-system integrations.
• Drive cost optimization by identifying opportunities to leverage solutions cross-functionally across business areas and generate economies of scale.
