Quality Executive

Key Focus
The primary focus of this role is to ensure quality compliance through effective quality checks, inspections, and process improvements across all departments.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust quality processes and systems within the organization.
• Conduct regular self-certification audits and ensure adherence to established quality standards.
• Address and resolve quality issues promptly, coordinating with local and group suppliers.
• Manage internal customer complaints by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Oversee the quality inspection of incoming materials and those at vendor locations.
• Maintain and update all quality-related documentation for local suppliers/vendors.
• Ensure the timely availability of quality-checked materials to relevant departments.
• Utilize advanced measuring and checking instruments to perform detailed inspections.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and minimize non-conformance.

Functional Competencies

• Strong understanding of product standards and quality benchmarks.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and their quality parameters.
• Proficiency in ISO standards, TQM practices, and quality certifications.
• Hands-on experience with measuring instruments, sampling plans, and Gauge R&R.
• Capability to interpret technical drawings and material standards accurately.

Qualifications, Role-Specific Knowledge & Experience

• B.Tech/BE in Electrical or Mechanical.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in the Quality department within a light engineering industry.
• Certifications in ISO, TQM, or related quality management systems are preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
