As a team member in our Quality Engineering practice, you will help make these digital solutions come to life by ensuring every deliverable is defect-free. You will routinely deliver automated testing solutions to clients that will impact their products, customers, and services.
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer to join our team.
Description:
- Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience with Playwright for web automation testing.
- Strong proficiency in C# programming language.
- Deep understanding of test automation frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD and tools and processes like (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in test automation, with significant experience in a leadership or architect role.
- Proven track record of architecting and implementing successful test automation frameworks.
- Experience with various testing tools and frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit, Selenium).
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional with problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with performance and load testing tools.
- Knowledge of additional programming language and tools.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment .
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and services (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy and Leadership:
- Define and implement the overall test automation strategy and framework using Playwright and C#.
- Lead the development and maintenance scalable and robust test automation frameworks and tools.
- Mentor and guide a team of test automation engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Framework and Tool Development:
- Architect and design test automation solutions that are maintainable, scalable, and efficient.
- Develop custom tools and utilities to support the test automation processes.
- Integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure seamless and automated release processes.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage through the creation of detailed test plans and test cases.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical oversight to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
- Analyze test results, identify tends, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and drive quality from the beginning of the development process.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of test automation efforts and quality metrics.
- Advocate for test automation and quality with the organization, driving a culture of excellence.
