Job Description

1. Design, implement, and maintain our Prometheus and Grafana infrastructure on Kubernetes.

2. Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and notifications using Grafana.

3. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate Prometheus and Grafana into our CI/CD pipelines.

4. Provide expertise on monitoring and observability best practices on Kubernetes.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Prometheus and Grafana on Kubernetes.

6. Develop and maintain documentation on Prometheus and Grafana configuration and usage on Kubernetes.

7. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Prometheus, Grafana, and Kubernetes.

8. Lead and mentor junior team members on Prometheus, Grafana, and Kubernetes best practices.

Requirements

1. 6+ years of experience in monitoring and observability, with a focus on Prometheus and Grafana on Kubernetes.

2. In-depth knowledge of Prometheus, including configuration, querying, and alerting on Kubernetes.

3. Expertise in Grafana, including dashboard creation, data source configuration, and alerting on Kubernetes.

4. Experience with Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.

5. Strong understanding of monitoring and observability concepts, including metrics, logs, and tracing on Kubernetes.

6. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.

7. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

8. Experience with leading and mentoring junior team members.

Nice to Have

1. Experience with other monitoring and observability tools, such as New Relic, Datadog, or Splunk.

2. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.

3. Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

4. Certification in Prometheus, Grafana, and Kubernetes, such as the Prometheus Certified Engineer, Grafana Certified Developer, or Kubernetes Certified Administrator.
