In short...
Responsible for providing outstanding technical support to a global customer base. Retains ownership for the resolution of technical problems, including debugging, simulations, locating bugs, tool, and script development for problem diagnosis, fixing and reproduction within the parameters of contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs). On this position, you will be part of post-production team, attending customers incidents, defects, change requests, RCAs of issues, and automation of possible workarounds.
What will your job look like
You will provide engineering expertise to tackle, modify and engineer software solutions and configurations to ensure the product/solution performs within efficient design specifications.
Investigate, debugs, and reproduces issues, provides fixes and workarounds, and verifies changes to ensure continued operability of the software solution.
Demonstrate continuous improvements and increased efficiency to the software or business processes by using Software Engineering tools, innovative techniques, and the reuse of existing solutions.
Contribute to meeting the SLAs and critical metrics as applicable for the account and unit - for example, responsiveness, resolution, software quality SLAs, etc.
Internal/external customers interface to improve the understanding of customer problems and verifies that an appropriate resolution has been applied.
All you need is...
Bachelor s degree in science/IT/Computers or equivalents.
Total experience required: 6-12 years
Manage and maintain Splunk infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and ongoing support.
Perform upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting of Splunk components.
Implement and enforce best practices for Splunk security, access controls, and data retention policies.
Monitor system performance and ensure optimal resource utilization.
Develop custom Splunk applications, dashboards, and reports to address specific business requirements.
Create and maintain Splunk searches, alerts, and saved reports to facilitate proactive monitoring and issue resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into Splunk solutions.
Splunk ITSI service configuration, correlation, optimization, and service Analyzer
Integrate Splunk with other systems and tools to enhance overall system functionality.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure and applications.
Develop and maintain Splunk connectors for various data sources.
Implement automation scripts and workflows to streamline routine Splunk administrative tasks.
Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
Provide training to end-users and IT staff on best practices for using Splunk.
Maintain detailed documentation of Splunk configurations, customizations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Integration of Splunk with other tools.
