Procurement Manager

Role & responsibilities

Provide direction to the procurement team, setting goals and objectives
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management
Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, mitigate risks, and ensure quality and reliability of supplies
Foster strategic relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
Monitor procurement performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
To comply with procurement strategy aligned for procurement team
Developing new vendors in line with Technical / Quality compliances adherence with plant Procurement Process
Timely submission of MIS reports
Oversee primary logistics operations, including transportation and distribution
Ensure efficient movement of seed & non-seed material & their timely deliveries
Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize transportation routes and reduce costs
Well versed with ERP tools S/4 HANA, SAP ARIBA
