Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant with over six years of expertise in configuring, implementing, and optimizing the SAP Materials Management module. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in end-to-end procurement, inventory management, and material planning within SAP and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements in supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the configuration, customization, and implementation of the SAP MM module to support procurement and inventory management processes.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP MM solutions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

- Manage end-to-end SAP MM functionalities, including procurement cycles, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, STO (One Step/Two Step), Inbound Delivery, goods receipts, Sales order, billing, IDOCs, Jobs, master data etc.

- Oversee inventory management processes, such as stock transfers, goods movement, and inventory reconciliation, ensuring data accuracy and optimal stock levels.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAP MM configurations, workflows, and customizations, providing ongoing support to users.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, logistics, production planning, and IT, to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.

- Conduct system testing, perform data validation, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure a smooth implementation process.

- Develop and deliver end-user training, documentation, and support to enhance understanding and efficient use of SAP MM functionalities.

- Stay updated with the latest SAP enhancements, updates, and industry best practices, and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Minimum of 6 years of experience working with SAP MM, including system configuration, implementation, and support.

- Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, material master data, and invoice verification within SAP MM.

- Proven ability to lead complex projects, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality solutions.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is must.

- SAP certification in MM or SD related area is preferred.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with related SAP modules such as SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling).

- Project management experience or certification is advantageous.
