Job Overview:

We are in search of a seasoned Data Scientist with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join us. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing advanced statistical models, leveraging mathematical techniques and harnessing the power of Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Machine Learning (ML) to derive actionable insights and drive strategic decision-making. If you are passionate about extracting meaningful patterns from data and have a strong background in statistical modeling, mathematics, and Python programming, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

- Utilize advanced statistical techniques to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights.

- Develop predictive models and algorithms to solve complex business problems, leveraging machine learning methodologies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

- Apply mathematical concepts and theories to design and optimize algorithms for data analysis and model building.

- Explore and implement cutting-edge techniques in Generative AI and NLP to extract deeper insights from unstructured data sources.

- Design experiments and conduct hypothesis testing to validate models and algorithms.

- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, facilitating data-driven decision-making.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

Core Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Statistics or Economics from the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) University Kolkata.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in data science, with a focus on statistical modeling and machine learning.

- Strong proficiency in Python programming and libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow/PyTorch.

- Solid understanding of mathematical concepts and theories, including linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics.

- Proficiency in leveraging GenAI technologies to develop innovative solutions.

- Proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and tools for text analysis and sentiment analysis.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy machine learning models in real-world applications.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and analytically.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non technical stakeholders.

Additional Preferred Skills:

- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, PySpark.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Familiarity with deep learning architectures and frameworks.

- Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the data science community.
