Global medical advisor

Global Medical Advisor, functionally be a part of the Rare Disease Global Medical Affairs, Haemophilia team in Zurich. This role will involve working with haemophilia , Global Medical Affairs Rare Disease. Internally, the Global Medical Advisor will collaborate with colleagues from e.g. Global Development, Regulatory, Marketing, Corporate Communication and affiliates.

The position holder is responsible for securing links, information flow to, maintenance and further development of key opinion leaders. Secure these relationships in order to obtain challenge and interpretation of protocols, clinical data and strategic approach to optimize product use and value. The scientific leader s opinion will be solicited for our understanding of further need of clinical research.

• The Global Medical Advisor is responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate and credible building of scientific and medical knowledge.

• The Global Medical Advisor strives to be the global specialist on the product/project within his responsibility towards internal and external customers.

• This role will be responsible for the pre-authorisation medico-marketing activities including development of promotional material and API updates.

• The focus is specially to provide medical and scientific support for key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other healthcare professionals (HCPs - nurses, pharmacists, etc) on a product.

Qualifications

• Graduated as Medical Doctor with MD (preferable) and/or PhD is required.

• 2 or more years of pharmaceutical development/business experience.

• Experience with clinical medicine, clinical research and drug development.

• Strong clinical and/or research background in area of haemophilia with interest in advanced scientific analysis and communication and experience in drug development.

• Fluency in both spoken and written English.

• Understanding of pharma business, pharma marketing practices and pharma law and guidance.

• Authored personal publications, held international medical presentations and written synopsis and protocols (preferable).

• Strong professionalism, dedication and willingness to travel is essential.
