Job Overview :

We are hiring a Manual Test Engineer for our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in software testing, with a focus on manual testing, test execution, defect reporting, and creating test cases. This role requires strong knowledge of test management tools and SQL for data validation.

Responsibilities :

- Execute test cases according to the predefined test plan.

- Log the results of test executions in the appropriate tools.

- Assist in defect classification and reporting.

- Create unit-level and functional-level test cases based on functional specifications.

- Provide required data for the preparation of status reports.

- Maintain daily activity logs in the Daily Status Report, ensuring accurate reporting of the testing progress.

- Utilize test management tools effectively.

- Write and execute SQL scripts for data-level validation.

Qualifications :

Educational Qualifications :

- For Candidates with B.E./B. TECH in any stream / MCA / M.Sc. (IT) :

- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Test Engineer in manual testing.

- Should have cleared or be willing to clear the ISTQB Foundation Level within 3 months of joining.

For Candidates with B.Sc. / BCA / B.Com. / BBA :

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Test Engineer in manual testing.

- Should have cleared or be willing to clear the ISTQB Foundation Level within 3 months of joining.

Technical Skills :

- Knowledge of test management tools.

- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.

- Experience in test execution, defect reporting, and preparation of test cases.

- Candidates must be willing to work in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and attend a face-to-face interview.
