- We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with 5 to 7 years of expertise in Loan Origination Systems (LOS).
- The ideal candidate will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
- You will work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and end-users to ensure the successful implementation and enhancement of loan origination processes.
- This role requires a self-driven individual who can join the team immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and define detailed requirements for loan origination processes.
- Analyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to enhance the efficiency of the LOS.
- Prepare functional specifications, user stories, and other documentation to ensure a clear understanding of project goals by development teams.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with internal and external stakeholders to gather inputs and refine business needs.
- Support the design, testing, and implementation of LOS enhancements and integrations with other financial systems.
- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure data integrity within the LOS.
- Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment of project objectives.
- Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and support defect resolution during testing phases.
- Ensure timely delivery of project deliverables and work closely with the project management team to align tasks and milestones.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5-7 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, specifically within Loan Origination Systems.
- Strong understanding of loan origination processes, regulatory requirements, and related financial products.
- Proficiency in requirement gathering, process mapping, and writing functional specifications.
- Hands-on experience with LOS platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in writing user stories.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Visio, and other process modeling tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives in the banking or financial services industry.
- Understanding of data migration, system integration, and API-driven architecture.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or relevant LOS certifications are a plus
