Head Finance Accounting

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct variance analysis and create reports to communicate key findings and actionable recommendations
• Work closely with department heads to optimize resource allocation and improve cost-efficiency
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
• Prepare and Consolidate monthly MIS reports across the organizational departments.
• Track and evaluate financial performance against KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities for optimization.
• Implement best practices and streamline workflows to improve overall financial operations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.
• Take timely corrective and preventive action on system deficiencies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and ensure data accuracy.
• Enhance reporting processes, data visualization, and analytical tools.
• Own end-to-end cash flow planning and ensure timely payments of dues like vendor payments and salaries or payroll.
• Manage the Register of chits end-to-end and implement processes to make it more efficient.
• Finalization of Accounts and ensuring timely completion of statutory and tax audits.

Preferred candidate profile

• CA and/or MBA with majors in Finance
• Proven track record of 5-10 years of experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance companies.
• Demonstrated history of exceeding targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency in Hindi, English, and Telugu languages.
• Excellent analytical, tactical and problem-solving skills
