Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate Mechanical Engineer to be part of our innovative team. You will play a key role in designing and scaling systems that solve complex engineering challenges, from initial concept to final delivery. Work on developing advanced systems that will be deployed in high-pressure and high-temperature environments, optimizing performance to meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development:
• Design complex mechanical subsystems and develop novel solutions to address the challenges of high-performance applications.
• Contribute to New Product Development (NPD), creating advanced mechanical systems to meet demanding customer specifications.
• Leverage SolidWorks and other CAD software to create high-precision mechanical designs and optimize them for scale-up.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality control teams to ensure seamless integration of new hardware into ongoing processes.
• Product Life Cycle Management:
• Responsible for the complete life cycle of mechanical systems and components, from design and development to installation and operational optimization.
• Ensure that all systems operate within safety, regulatory, and performance standards throughout their lifecycle.
• Innovation & Engineering Excellence:
• Continuously develop, upgrade, and optimize mechanical systems to enhance efficiency and scalability in the production of SWCNTs and other advanced materials.
• Solve technical challenges related to the scale-up process, ensuring smooth reactor operations in high-pressure and high-temperature environments.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience:
• 1-4 years of experience in mechanical design, NPD, and mechanical subsystems development.
• Proven experience in high-pressure, high-temperature systems.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with SolidWorks (Preferred), CATIA, or other CAD tools.
• Understanding of fundamentals thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and mechanical engineering principles.
• Knowledge of mechanical standards such as ASME BPV, ANSI Standards, and other relevant codes.
• Experience working with chemical processes, mechanical control systems, and precision engineering.
• Soft Skills:
• Ability to hustle and get things done, navigating through challenges to meet deadlines and goals.
• A self-starter who thrives with minimal management and takes initiative in solving complex problems.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams and present ideas clearly.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly when tackling engineering challenges in high-pressure, high-temperature environments.
