Job Description
- Designing and developing new or changing existing web applications/APIs.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting web applications and APIs.
- Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby / Rails code.
- Integrating with data storage solutions such as database, file storage or object storage.
- Creating services using microservices architecture.
- Dockerize the application / service
- Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs.
- Integrating user-facing elements designed by the front-end team.
- Connecting applications with other internal or third party systems.
Must Have Skills:
- Overall 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- 1.5+ yr experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Experience writing test cases using Rspecs
- Good understanding of front-end technologies and frameworks, such as ReactJS
- Solid experience with web services.
- Understanding of JavaScript dependency management and build tools.
- Experience with MongoDB, Postgresql, MySQL database.
- Comfortable in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction coupled with team collaboration and open communication
- Understanding of RESTful web services
- Work in a fast-paced, creative atmosphere to develop new ideas that adapt to evolving user needs
- Experience using Git / GitHub.
- Experience with AWS services.
- Willing to work in Night shift - 7.30pm-4.30pm
Good To Have:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform for managing cloud infrastructure.
Education: BE/BTech/MCA/ME/MTech/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
