Job Description :

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Android Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform.

As an Android Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while ensuring application performance, quality, and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Translate project designs and wireframes into high-quality code.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Java, Kotlin, and XML.

- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

- Integrate third-party libraries and APIs.

- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

- Maintain existing codebases, including bug fixing.

- Create app updates and release them periodically.

- Participate in the full software development cycle, including planning, testing, and deploying applications.

- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.

Technical Proficiency :

- Proven software development experience and Android skills development.

- Proven working experience in Android app development.

- Minimum 3+ year of extensive and hands-on Java and Android development experience.

- Experience with Android SDK.

- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.

- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.

- Excellent programming skills and proficient in JavaScript, C++, and XML.

- Ability to work as a team player across various verticals of the business.

- Have published at least one original Android app.

- A problem-solving approach to working as a mobile app developer.

Qualifications :

- Minimum of 3.5 +years' experience in android app development.

- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
