Node Js Developer - (WFO | Dadar - Mumbai)

We at Winjit Technologies are seeking an experienced Node.js Developer with hands-on expertise in building a UPI switch for banking applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in backend development, API integrations, payment systems, and financial transaction processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize a scalable and secure UPI switch for banking applications.
• Implement real-time transaction processing with high availability and low latency.
• Integrate with banking systems, NPCI, and third-party payment gateways.
• Ensure compliance with UPI security standards and banking regulations.
• Work closely with DevOps to deploy and monitor microservices-based architecture.
• Optimize database performance and manage transaction consistency.
• Conduct debugging and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA, and product managers.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Node.js and backend development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with Microservices, RESTful APIs, and WebSockets.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL or SQL
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Nice to Have:

• Certification in banking or financial technology
• Strong knowledge of UPI architecture, NPCI standards, and banking APIs.
• Understanding of security protocols, encryption, and compliance in fintech.
• Prior experience in banking, fintech, or payment solutions is highly desirable
