Production Manager-Garment

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for Development, cutting, stitching, packing & all floor activities
• Production planning weekly/monthly
• Responsible for production targets with quality
• Line Balancing and WIP Control: Levelling of workload throughout the line is very important to improve capacity (resource) utilization.
• No line should have excess work in process as inventory.
• Responsible to control and improve rework % on daily basis
• Responsible for machine maintaince on time
• Responsible for RM consumption & wastages
• Good communication & relationship with supervisors
• Coordination with quality team
• Continious training provide to supervisors/operators for quality & production
• Responsible for ensuring discipline on the floor.
• Strong Leadership to solve workers problem
• Maintain Discipline and Manpower handling skill
• Responsible for on time goods delivery to customers
• Involment in new product devlopment
• Responsible to Maintain all production related records like daily production report, hourly report, major defects report, model wise operations record etc.
• Knowledge of 5s, at least awareness of house keeping
