Job Description:
Accounts Payable Management :
- Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
- Monitor outstanding payables and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Establish robust controls for invoice verification, approval workflows, and payment processing.
- Develop relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favorable payment terms.
Product Costing and Master Data Management:
- Control over BOM and costing of the product.
- Keep track of changes in the product BOM changes
- Manager creation/change of Material Masters
Fixed Asset Accounting
- Fixed asset accounting on monthly basis
- Depreciation runs and retirement of assets
- Provide support to Operations team for any new capex / investment
Financial Control:
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard plant assets.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, company policies, and accounting standards.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
Cost Control & Optimization:
- Monitor production costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Work closely with operations to analyze production variances and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular cost reviews and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
Indirect Tax Compliance:
- Monitor tax regulations and ensure compliance with evolving tax laws as a part of AP process controller.
- Manage tax assessments, audits, and correspondence with tax authorities.
- Provide guidance on tax implications for transactions and business strategies.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory valuation, ensuring accuracy and proper controls.
- Analyze inventory levels and coordinate with production to optimize working capital.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for plant management and corporate headquarters.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, supply chain, and sales to drive business performance.
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
SAP Expertise:
- Utilize SAP systems for financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
- Provide guidance and training on SAP functionalities to finance team members.
- Streamline and optimize SAP processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
Audit & Compliance:
- Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing audit findings and implementing recommendations.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance and ethics standards.
Team Management:
- Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and coaching.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the finance function.
Education Qualification required : CA
