How you might spend your days (Main Roles & Responsibilities)

As an Instrumentation Engineer, you ll be working with an innovative, multi-disciplinary team where you ll:

Perform Instrumentation design activities for the project.
Perform on IO allocations, IO schedule, JB schedule, etc.
Perform electrical and control wiring for Instruments.
Knowledge in ATEX, ISA and IEC, safety requirements.
Understanding of testing and calibration of Instruments.
Will be supporting the lead of the project or package from the project in all project sizes and phases.
Should have the ability to understand the scope baseline and should have thorough knowledge in addressing change control.
Work is performed independent with occasional guidance and oversight by senior colleagues.
Ensure interfaces to and coordination with other disciplines.
Responsible for deliverables such as analysis or reports or deliverables in a specific area of appropriate quality and time.
Take initiative to find effective engineering design solutions to problems arising in your own discipline, in the interfaces with other disciplines
Coordinate and support other team members in their discipline or department
Follow the latest technology trends within the instrumentation discipline
Work requires broad theoretical knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to real life situations.
Support in the development of standards and guidelines
Passionate about technical discipline
Commitment to resolving issues and completing tasks in an organized manner.

Ensure customer satisfaction with technical solutions
Innovative in approach & take initiative for continuous improvement
Ready to travel anywhere in India or abroad for site visits and shall be able to solve queries related to the site.

Instrument Specification design
Instrument sizing
IO allocations, IO schedule, JB schedule, Loop drawings
DCS/PLC system design, architecture, and configuration drawings
PID review
Tendering support, BOQ preparation
ATEX principles / hazardous area design requirements
SPI tool / Intools (Added advantage)
AutoCAD (Added advantage)

The miles you ve walked (Education and Work Experience)

In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

You have a degree in engineering in Instrumentation Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.
You have a minimum of 3 years of Engineering experience in Pharma/ Oil & Gas/ chemical industries or similar.
Fluent in English, spoken and written.
