Head Internal Auditor

Job Description

• Knowledge of SEBI & RBI compliance and experience with internal auditing for mutual fund asset management companies.
• Should know the RBI guidelines
• Experience in finalising the Audit report, Risk control matrix.
• Should able to do independent discussion with HOD, CEO.
• Planning audit engagements.Understanding the scope, development of checklists, performing data analytics, scheduling, and coordinating for audit execution.
• Audit execution.
• Conducting audit activities, identifying control gaps, discussion, and closure of audit queries with process owners.
• Audit Reporting
• Preparing draft audit reports, discussion of report with process owners, finalization of audit report.
• Ensure completeness of audit workpapers documentation.
• Responsible for executing client related engagements in the areas of governance, risk & compliance, internal audits, process reviews, standard operating procedures, revenue assurance.
• Maintain audit working papers and report the findings/recommendations to management along with management responses.
• Manage Audit on day-to-day basis & preparing the consolidated report on periodic basis and sending to the management.
• Facilitate closure of action items arising out of audits through tracking of open audit issues.
• Preparation of Audit committee submission for IA and IFC review.

Experience In:

• Internal Audit / IFC review for BFSI sector only (NBFC, mutual fund, Insurance, broking)

Required Technical Knowledge:

Prior experience of either/ all of following services is required.

• Internal Audit,
• IFC Implementation & Review,
• Business Process Reviews,
• Documentation & Review of SOP
• Conversant with compliance requirements with business and tax laws, accounting standards & Ind-AS.
• The RBI guideline

Required Skillset:

• Data analytics skills
• Effective communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Power point
• Languages known: English & Hindi

*Candidates should be willing to work from client offices spread across Mumbai and occasional travelling outside Mumbai
