At Nividous, we are looking for: Business Intelligence Analyst

Responsibilities

Understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
Designing and implementing star and snowflake schema for data warehouses.
Creating and managing dimensional and relational data models.
Extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources (databases, APIs, flat files, etc.) while optimizing for performance and scalability.
Build intuitive, interactive, and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
Ensures accuracy, consistency, and quality of data.
Explaining complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Profile

4 to 7 years of experience required
BE/ BTech or Masters preferably in Computer Sciences
Experience and knowledge about US healthcare data is Mandatory

Strong Data Modeling Expertise

Proficient in designing and implementing star and snowflake schema for data warehouses.
Experience with creating and managing dimensional and relational data models.

Advanced ETL Development Skills

Hands-on expertise with tools like SSIS, Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, or custom ETL pipelines.
Ability to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources (databases, APIs, flat files, etc.) while optimizing for performance and scalability.

Power BI Proficiency

Mastery of Power BI, including DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), M Query, and custom visuals.
Ability to build intuitive, interactive, and visually appealing dashboards and reports.

SQL Expertise

Advanced SQL skills for querying, optimizing, and transforming data.
Experience with stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization for large datasets.

Attention to Detail and Quality Assurance

Ensures accuracy, consistency, and quality of data.
Strong understanding of data validation and debugging techniques.

Business Communication and Stakeholder Engagement

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
Experience in explaining complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Collaborative Mindset and Respect for Others

Demonstrates mutual respect and professionalism in all interactions.
Proactively engages with team members to brainstorm, resolve issues, and deliver better outcomes.
