Position/Role: Manager FP&A and Sales Controlling
Role reports to: Head - Business Controller (India)
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Lead the Sales Controlling vertical & diligently track Net Sales and Trade Terms & Conditions (TTC) lines in the P&L
2. Lead Monthly management review meetings with strong focus on business steering. Bring out key business highlights & action points every month for possible management action. Strong and continuous follow up on minutes to logical conclusion
3. Participate in creation of strategic 5-year planning (SRM) & Annual Business Plan (ABP)
4. Update rolling forecasts in every quarter
5. Steer Monthly management review meetings with strong focus on business steering & driving action plan for improvement
6. Track category wise /channel wise Promo spends vs Budget/ LY. Provide complete visibility to Management on Price Waterfall from MRP to NS (by brand category/ channel/ customer) and drive efficiencies in close co-operation with Sales and Marketing teams
7. Prepare various monthly, quarterly reporting dashboard for various stakeholders
8. Pre and post evaluation of Promo spends, drive discussions with business and manage repository of promo efficiencies for future usage
9. Track TTC and in-depth analysis along with resolution of Regional/Global queries on the same.
10. Active participant in various gate keeper & S&OP meetings
11. Timely submission of Monthly Sales Outlook (MSO) to the Regional/ Global Team
12. Fulfill data requirements of internal customers (sales/ brand team) and external customers, including auditors
Managerial Competencies:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or MBA Graduate with 3-4 years of experience in FMCG business, preferably in sales or commercial finance and possess the following competencies:
- Analytical - should be systematic and possess logical reasoning
- Technical - Exposure to Financial Accounting and Management Reporting. First hand experience in controlling & business decision support
- Communication - Clear articulation & proficiency in presentations
- Environment- Good understanding of FMCG business environment
- Technical- Exposure to Financial Accounting and Management Reporting. First-hand experience in controlling & business decision support
- Coordinating - Motivates and empowers others in order to reach organizational goals
- Communication - Speaks clearly, fluently and effectively to both individual and groups. Writes in a clear and concise manner, using appropriate style and language.
- Decision making - Should be able to make priorities and make decisions in line with company policies/target
- Organized - Organizes and schedules events, activities and resources. Develops process which are self-driven and sustainable.
- Persuasive - Interpersonal relations - Customer Service Orientation, Collaboration and Influencing Skills
