Hvac Project Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Plan, schedule, and execute HVAC projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams for project alignment.
• Prepare project timelines, milestones, and work breakdown structures.

2. HVAC System Design & Installation

• Review and analyze HVAC system designs, layouts, and technical drawings.
• Supervise the installation of HVAC equipment, including chillers, AHUs, VRF systems, ducting, and piping.
• Ensure proper selection and installation of insulation, dampers, and diffusers.

3. Load Calculation & Equipment Selection

• Perform heat load calculations and select suitable HVAC equipment.
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, SMACNA, and NBC standards.
• Work with vendors to procure HVAC equipment as per project specifications.

4. Site Supervision & Coordination

• Monitor daily site activities and ensure work progresses as per the project schedule.
• Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and labor teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation and compliance with design drawings.

5. Procurement & Material Management

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and material requirement lists.
• Coordinate with procurement teams for timely material delivery.
• Maintain material usage records and avoid wastage.

6. Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure installation work meets quality standards and follows safety regulations.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of HVAC systems for optimal performance.
• Identify and resolve HVAC system issues to ensure smooth operations.

7. Client & Vendor Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project updates.
• Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors for project requirements.
• Handle project documentation, approvals, and client feedback.

8. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare site progress reports, project status updates, and material tracking reports.
• Maintain all technical documents, including as-built drawings and testing reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

9. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations.
• Implement safety measures for workers and conduct risk assessments.
• Train site personnel on safety procedures and emergency protocols.

10. Team Management & Coordination

• Lead site engineers, technicians, and workforce for efficient execution.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and technicians.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project updates and challenges.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
