Position Specification
This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to spearhead the SEO division, where you will be at the forefront of growing our online presence. You will challenge yourself to push your boundaries of thought by working through the intricate landscape of SEO across diverse geographies, delving into the nuanced elements of content strategy and optimization.

• Desired qualities we seek in individuals for the role:
  Strong understanding of Search Engine Optimisation methods and know how to implement them effectively.
• Experience driving relevant organic web traffic to client websites.
• Capable of evaluating business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and assessing the impact of SEO activities on overall business growth.
• Having the ability to simplify complex ideas and thoughts down into concepts that non-SEO people can understand. Convince the internal teams and clients to do the right thing by speaking at meetings and preparing decks, reports, case studies, etc.
• Those with Technical & Programming Skills who can understand development challenges and work with developers to solve issues by offering insights rather than merely making demands.
• Who understands the effort vs impact, carefully evaluates the effort it takes to drive results, and decides whether it is worth investing the time and effort.
• Knowing which activities to prioritize for better return on investments from SEO campaigns.
• Decision-making ability to prioritize activities for meaningful SEO results is key.
• Those who meticulously analyze and report on the analytics events, their causes, and recommended actions.
• They should also provide insightful evaluations of SEO campaign effectiveness, offering meaningful insights instead of merely presenting data and numbers.
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console is important.
• Candidates should not only be adept at extracting data but also capable of interpreting it, identifying patterns, and providing recommendations for actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Vision:
Develop and articulate a clear vision for the SEO division, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in search engine algorithms to inform strategic direction.

Strategy:
Formulate comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to the needs of clients and partners, taking into account factors such as target audience, business KPIs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives and optimize online visibility across diverse geographies.

Achieve:
Drive the execution of SEO campaigns, ensuring the delivery of measurable results that align with the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, making data-driven adjustments to optimize performance and maximize ROI.

Guide:
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Offer strategic insights and recommendations to internal teams and clients, guiding decision-making processes and driving alignment with SEO best practices.



Qualification

• A resident of India
• Citizen of India
• Bachelor's degree in either Computer Science, Business or Marketing, with a preference for a Master's degree
• Professional SEO and SEM Certification
• Proven work experience of 5+ in an agency:
  - Successfully leading teams
  - Developing and Executing SEO campaigns
  - Experience managing SEO campaigns for clients from the US, Canada, or Europe.
• Deep knowledge of SEO trends, strategies, and practices
• Advanced knowledge of technical aspects of SEO, content marketing, and search techniques
• Extensive knowledge of an array of analytic tools such as Ahref, SEMRush, Search Console, Data Studio, Moz, Google Analytics 4, etc.
• Demonstrate critical thinking in engaging with content creation, where you must be able to lead discussions toward supporting your decisions and solutions.
• Must be familiar with and adept at using technology
• Familiarity with operating in an Apple environment on both Desktop and Mobile and experience using native Apple software - Pages (Word Processor), Numbers (Spreadsheet), Keynote (Presentation) - will be an added advantage
