About the role:

We are hiring for a Senior Data Analyst within our Data Science team. As a Senior Data Analyst at Nirvana, you will play a pivotal role in improving our data analysis processes, enhancing data governance, and contributing to the development of data-driven features and initiatives. Your responsibilities will span various categories, including Non-Dev QA, Drift Analysis, Feature Improvements, and New Feature Initiatives etc.

What you ll do:

• Data Collection, Preparation & Data Analysis:

  • Gather data from various sources; clean, transform, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and outliers.

  • Utilize statistical techniques and data visualization tools to present findings effectively.

• Reporting and Visualization:

  • Create informative and visually appealing reports, dashboards, and presentations.

  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.

• Data Modeling and Predictive Analytics:

  • Develop and maintain statistical models to support forecasting and decision-making.

  • Apply machine learning algorithms to solve specific business problems.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to define data requirements and project goals.

• A/B Testing and Experimentation:

  • Design and conduct A/B tests to evaluate the impact of changes and initiatives.

  • Analyze test results and provide data-driven insights for optimization.

• Data Quality Assurance:

  • Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

  • Identify and resolve data anomalies or discrepancies.
    

About you:

• Bachelors degree in a related field, such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or engineering

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis.

• Expert-level skills in writing and optimizing complex SQL

• Strong experience with Python

• Strong programming skills in SQL and Python

• Basic understanding of Statistics, machine learning, and data science.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, or Power BI.

• Good communication and presentation skills
  Excellent verbal and written communication. Proven interpersonal skills and ability to convey key insights from complex analyses in summarized business terms. Ability to effectively communicate with technical teams.
