Service Engineer - Weighbridge & Truck Scale (Only Male)

Location: Coimbatore (100% Travel to Client Locations - PAN India based) - 3 openings

Reporting To: Managing Director (MD)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform regular servicing and preventive maintenance of weighbridges and truck scales to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
• Conduct on-site troubleshooting and repair of weighbridge systems, including load cells, display units, junction boxes, and other associated electrical and mechanical components
• Investigate and identify reasons for system failure or inaccuracies, ensuring minimal disruption to the clients operations. Respond promptly to emergency service requests, ensuring minimal downtime for clients
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of weighing platforms (decks), load cells or sensors, power unit and display units, ensuring accurate installation, calibration, and performance
• Expertise in electrical connections, including junction boxes, ensuring that all wiring is done according to standard electrical practices and safety protocols.
• Knowledge of soldering, power equipment, indicator and repair and installations
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults in the weighbridge systems and resolve issues effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients regarding service requests, maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting procedures. Document and report the same for system improvements. Implement safety practices.
• Submit detailed reports to the MD and management on the progress of maintenance activities, including service status, time taken for repairs, and customer feedback. Maintain accurate service records, including calibration data, and spare parts used.

Overall Requirement:

• Bachelors degree in Electronics, or related field (preferred).
• 2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining weighbridge systems or heavy machinery or similar equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with clients effectively.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to maintain clear documentation and reports
• Certifications in Weighbridge/Truck Scale servicing or related fields would be an advantage
• Willingness to travel 100% to client locations across the region and Valid drivers license and ability to travel frequently
