Role & responsibilities

• Automation Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
• Test Planning & Execution: Participate in the creation of test plans, test cases, and strategies. Execute automated tests to validate software functionality and performance.
• Bug Identification & Reporting: Identify, report, and track software defects using tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or other defect-tracking systems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to understand application requirements and provide feedback on product quality.
• Continuous Improvement: Enhance test automation processes and tools, ensuring more efficient testing and better coverage.
• Test Documentation: Document automated test scripts and results, providing detailed reports and metrics on test outcomes to stakeholders.
• Regression Testing: Perform regression testing during release cycles to ensure that recent changes do not affect existing functionality.
• Performance Testing: Assist in performance and load testing activities, ensuring the application meets performance standards.
